Friendship House - Community Centre

Friendship House Community Centre is a well-established community facility in Manukau. The project involves the modernisation and planned maintenance of the existing building to ensure it continues to support the local community.

The works are being delivered within an operational community facility, requiring careful planning around staging, budget, and programme, as well as minimising disruption to day-to-day activities.

PJM has been engaged as client-side Project Manager to lead the project through design, consenting, budgeting, procurement, and delivery planning. A key focus of PJM’s role has been aligning scope, cost, and programme with available funding and structuring the project for efficient delivery.

Funding grants have now been secured and the building contract has been awarded to Alaska Construction, with construction works due to commence shortly.
