Molesworth Place - Māngere

Molesworth Place is a 4,300m² brownfield site formed by combining multiple low-density residential properties. This project blends progressive home ownership and market housing, offering 22 affordable two to four-bedroom homes that cater to a variety of households, from couples to families.

Designed to support Mangere’s growing population, the development aims to create a vibrant and sustainable community. Its prime location near amenities and transport networks enhances connectivity, with walkable streets, nearby bus stops, bike parking, and limited car parks promoting diverse, eco-friendly transport options.

The layout prioritises clarity and cohesion, featuring street-facing units, logical entrances, and distinct public and private spaces. Modern architecture establishes a strong neighbourhood identity.

Sustainability is at the heart of the design, incorporating solar-oriented lots for energy efficiency, native planting to enhance biodiversity, and practical features like clotheslines. By encouraging walkability and reducing car reliance, the development fosters healthier lifestyles while minimising its environmental impact.
