ASB Bank - Regional Centre Fit-Outs

This project involved the nationwide roll-out of five new regional banking centre fit-outs across Christchurch, Taranaki, Whangārei, Hamilton, and Timaru, delivered between 2017 and 2021. The centres ranged in size from approximately 500 sqm to 1,600 sqm and formed part of a coordinated national programme.

Delivering a multi-site rollout programme presented a unique set of challenges, requiring consistent standards of design, quality, and brand execution while responding to differing regional conditions, local authorities, landlord requirements, and construction markets.

Consulting to 4WoRK, PJM provided lead project management services and was responsible for the overall project delivery including design management, procurement, budget, programme, consenting and construction observation.

The workspaces were developed to reflect local regional identity and context while maintaining alignment with ASB’s national brand, vision, and operational standards.

A key part of the delivery approach was coordinating closely with ASB’s existing service providers and local contractors, creating a single, integrated delivery framework across multiple regions and sites.

PJM has supported ASB across a range of projects, including the Albany C:Drive Agile Technology fit-out (8,500 sqm), lease exit and refurbishment works, and the Ormiston Town Centre branch.
