NZME - Auckland Workplace Fit-Out

NZME brings together New Zealand’s leading radio, publishing, digital and e-commerce brands. The project scope involved merging multiple sites (approximately 28,000 sqm) into a new 8,500 sqm office.

This award-winning interior combined NZME’s three core businesses of radio, newspaper and digital into one integrated presence. Each radio brand was allocated prime exterior-facing locations to engage with their audience. The company’s brand is subtly threaded through the fit-out, from the diagonal carpet design to the staff-inspired glazing graphics.

The project required careful integration of specialist broadcasting equipment, studios, production spaces, IT infrastructure, and building services, with acoustic and technical performance requirements significantly higher than a standard office fit-out. Close coordination was required between the base build, interior works, and specialist broadcast systems to achieve the required performance outcomes.

Consulting to 4WoRK, PJM provided project management services and was responsible for the delivery of this integrated fit-out, including design management, procurement, budget, programme, consenting and construction observation.
