Nuffield St - New World Supermarket
Newmarket - New World Supermarket
The Nuffield St, New World Supermarket fitout has created a unique grocery offering to Newmarket, one of Auckland’s major shopping destinations.
Acting as client-side project manager and Engineer to Contract, PJM provided project management and contract administration services during the design and delivery phases of the project.
The new store is located within a landmark building, originally the Auckland Electric Power Board Building (circa 1950), and later used as an assembly line for Morris Minor cars. The supermarket fitout is sympathetic to the buildings character, looking and feeling uniquely different from other contemporary New World stores.
This store has been designed with the needs of a busy urban community in mind, having a focus on convenience and ease. The store incorporates sustainable design features, helping to reduce emissions and give customers a more sustainable shopping experience.
